FORMER TEACHER - Swimming Pools Near Zlate Moravce


Zlate Moravce doesn’t have an indoor swimming pool. If you are a swimmer you options in Nitra and Levice.

·       Don’t open the Levice pool website. It has a virus.
·       The Nitra pool costs less but you will have to pay €0.60 to €1 for street parking.
·       The Levice pool has a parking lot so you don’t pay for parking.
·       Both are approximately 30km from the school so you will pay for 3 liters of fuel (€4) each time you go.

·       The Nitra pool does not have black lines on the bottom of the lanes. The Levice pool does.
·       Levice is a smaller town so you’ll have a better chance of getting your own lane in the late morning.
·       At either pool you will be given a numbered locker key when you pay. You don’t need to bring a lock.
·       You always take your shoes off before walking into the locker room / shower area.
·       The pools typically don’t provide soap or shampoo in the showers.
·       At Levice they may ask you to wear a cap when you swim. The staff will lend you one.

FORMER TEACHER - Leaving Early in June

For the past two years Peter has offered to have the native speakers leave before the end of June. The school is open until the last Thursday in June. This year the last day of school is Thursday, June 27th. Peter may want you to stay through the end of June next year. In 2019 he asked all three native speakers if they would like to skip the last two weeks. There's nothing wrong with departing early but you need to be aware of the possibility so that you can plan. Consider this when making your flight arrangements for the end of June.  Remember than if you leave early and opt to travel you will only be paid a half month's salary for June.  https://www.facebook.com/jskramar/
