FORMER TEACHER - Getting a Haircut


You won’t find much English spoken in Zlate Moravce so getting a haircut will be a challenge. There are options in Nitra and many in Bratislava.

Here is one in Bratislava that is inexpensive. The owner Lydia speaks English.

You can add Lydia to your WhatsApp contacts and check to make sure she will be in when you arrive. Her number is +421 903 302 176. She does both men’s and women’s hair. A basic haircut is 7.5 euros.

FORMER TEACHER - Leaving Early in June

For the past two years Peter has offered to have the native speakers leave before the end of June. The school is open until the last Thursday in June. This year the last day of school is Thursday, June 27th. Peter may want you to stay through the end of June next year. In 2019 he asked all three native speakers if they would like to skip the last two weeks. There's nothing wrong with departing early but you need to be aware of the possibility so that you can plan. Consider this when making your flight arrangements for the end of June.  Remember than if you leave early and opt to travel you will only be paid a half month's salary for June.  https://www.facebook.com/jskramar/
