FORMER TEACHER - Trade Visa & Power of Attorney


In Slovakia it is possible to grant someone power of attorney for a specific purpose. To simplify the work visa process teachers can sign forms allowing Peter to obtain all of the necessary documents.

The text of each of the three documents is shown below in Slovak and in English (per Google Translate). If you are uncomfortable with this process you can opt to go with Peter to the various offices in order to obtain your work visa.

FORMER TEACHER - Leaving Early in June

For the past two years Peter has offered to have the native speakers leave before the end of June. The school is open until the last Thursday in June. This year the last day of school is Thursday, June 27th. Peter may want you to stay through the end of June next year. In 2019 he asked all three native speakers if they would like to skip the last two weeks. There's nothing wrong with departing early but you need to be aware of the possibility so that you can plan.
